Don't forget about soundwave! Faith no more and meshuggah are playing there! Although about 75% of the bill is 'emo' if you're into that sort of music as well Last edited by BillyPyro (Today 4:46 AM)

I just returned from Cairns and GBR. Went on liveaboard diving trip. And even though it's the stinger season they give you stinger suits. And there is usually more of them closer to cost, not that much out in the reef, I heard. Anyway, it was the most amazing experience I have ever had! You will have a blast!

If you're looking for a great break then explore Queensland's spectacular Outback. From rollicking stockmen, to quiet fishing spots, to desert sand dunes, and even the odd dinosaur. I'm sure you'll like it.

Hi Kim. I would definitely be interested. I'm traveling alone in Australia as of March 11th 09. I should be in Sydney on the 20th of March, staying indefinitely. I'd love to meet fellow travelers while I am there. Cheers, Sheila

I honestly doubt Bondi Beach offers two days worth of sightseeing and entertainment. Unless of course, you're entire desire is to sunbake in Sydney, which frankly there are less crowded and prettier beaches in Sydney. However it is good for a visit and to grab some food at one of the nice cafes or a beer at the Bavarian Bier Cafe on Bondi beach.

Hi! I am actually heading to Cairns on the 11th (until 17th), also by myself. We should meet up. I am planning to get the scuba certificate and just do some other fun stuff. I also booked a nice hotel for two of the nights, if you want to share, was a really good deal.

February is still a good time to out on the reef. I worked for a dive center out of Cairns for 4 months. They offer a 5 day open water course. 2 days on land working on theory and pool sessions, followed by a 3day/2 night trip to the outter great barrier reef. It's an excellent trip for younger people and you'll have heaps of fun. On the last day, everyone gets together at a resturant and go for...
