I'm pretty certain we'd be taking the overnight train from Rome to Paris, and I have read without a pass a ticket for that can be very expensive. Going to Argentina!

Yeah I have a few I'll try to get up here! All my pics down there were "real photos", so I've needed to scan them on the comp. It was the best time of my life so far, like many study abroad years. It was also during the financial crisis, which was kinda crazy, but also so cool to be there during that time! Exchange students were almost sent home, but luckily the ones out any direct turmoil, like BA, could stay....

If you go with 6 cities and one of the journey's between cities being a plane from London to wherever you're going to, then you'll have enough travel days on the 5 day flexi pass. Price out the different rail passes and price out the individual train tickets and choose whichever is cheaper. If you think you'll be traveling much more, then yeah, the 15 day pass (or 21 if it's a promo) is worth it, but if you're...

Going to Argentina!

My friend is off to Chile Dec 2nd I believe. Going up through Argentina on his quest to make it from the straight of Magellan to the U.S. on land(as much as possible). I'll have to ask him what his plans are in Argentina, he's been doing a ton of research.

I'd definitely skip Milan, and Pisa can be done in a day trip. As much as I love germany, I think you're going to have to skip a few cities there, too. I haven't actually been to that part of germany though so I can't make a recommendation. I will say that I think Munich requires less time than you might think, yes you can sit in a beer hall for days but you can actually see the sights and have a few good beer garden/beer...

A few friends and I are thinking about traveling to Europe in May/June of '09 for 2 to 3 weeks. We'll probably be getting the Eurail Global Pass... or maybe a flexipass. Anyways... I have been looking at the route we could possibly go to visit a decent amount of place in Europe during this time. Seeing as though Eurail doesn't cover England, we were thinking about flying into London first, and ...

I finally did it, and cashed in those miles for a heavily discounted ticket to Buenos Aires! I've been waiting for what seems like years to get the opportunity to take a trip for nothing more than the sheer pleasure of it. I'm excited to be going back to AR after spending a year there in 2001, so I will hopefully get to visit two of my best friends that I've still been in contact with. It will...

I know I'm going to have to cut some of them out. So if anyone could recommend which ones to drop and which ones ...

I'm starting to think about my trip to CR in December and what I want to do so I can make sure I save enough $ to do the things I want to do. I'm leaving on a Friday (December 12th) early in the morning out of Detroit (guess I will have to drive from Cbus to Detroit... I go where the cheap airfare is lol) and get back LATE on Christmas Eve, like, 11:50pm. My mom is unaware of this and I will...
