If you really want the HL, keep trying man. Get quote from dealers that are a little bit far. Sometime they would offer you better deal for the extra distant you might have to travel. Get the quote from dealer out of town, and bring it to your local dealer if they're willing to match in order to get your business. But don't settle for a Honda or other brand because you couldn't get 400-500 cheaper. Buying a car is 2nd most...

Are there any grounding issues if you do mount directly to the metal body?
Great photos, keep em coming! Just fyi, if your camera has a Macro feature, it may help with those really close up shots.

When I purchased my HL, I told them that I must have Sirius. They gave me the option of installing it themselves or using an aftermarket dealer who does all of their aftermarket work. I choose the aftermarket installer. They did an excellent job. The radio works great, except for not scrolling. In reading the HL owner's manual, this is not possible. Only 10 characters will be displayed....

Drew,
It is definitely DIY, with a bit of planning.
The Blendmount provides a neat, easy install. I got the Invisi-cord too, but I had the autodim mirror. That makes it as simple as you can possibly get.
However, if you can buy or borrow a volt Ohm meter, you can do it yourself. You can get an inexpensive one from Radio Shack.
Open up the overhead light compartment and you should ...

I see that the Thule Atlantis 2100 is 92.5" long.
In your opinion would the Spirit at 90.5" long fit, and I'm guessing the Atlantis 1800 would fit easily at 84" long?

Do you mind posting up a couple pics of the beam pattern (granted only one headlight is working...). I'm seriously considering, but only if the glare isn't too bad. Also, did your kit come with Casper/Glare shields? Thanks!

Congrats! Not sure where you live, but if there's snow, you may want to think about buying snow tires. I have the 09 Sport and the stock tires that came on mine (Toyo's) are terrible in the snow.

I've never heard of Perma Plate but most of the exterior/interior
protectors are just wax and scotchguard. I would save your money, use
scotchguard for cloth seats if you have issues with spills, leather
cleaner/conditioner for leather (I use Lexol), and put a coat of wax on the
car 1-2x per year.

I would put snow tires for the 17s and use them as your winter wheels and
then once spring comes along put your 19s back on

Hi. I have a 2009 Sport and I purchased some 17" gun metal alloy wheels from Cdn Tire. They were $109 a piece (about $30 more than steel), but look much better than the steelies(well, in my opinion anyway ), and won't rust. I don't know if they still carry them, but you could try.
