I haven't been to that part of the world since 2000, but I do recall back then, most vehicles intended for your market were shipped without emission controls FJCs' are sold with emission control, I guess most of the imported cars are now sold with...

Kind of weird that the made their snorkel only to work with their CAI. Hope they make converter kits to the TRD/AFE and to the stock intake. Sounds like they need to hire someone with a degree in marketing, haah.

Changing Spark Plugs...help? -...
Published (2009-11-29 15:27:00)
Took me about an hour to do. Drivers side is by far the hardest but as long as you take your time everything will go smoothly. Some tips 1) Make sure you have VERY long extensions for all of your sockets. 2) take the support bar for the intake off of the drivers side in order to free up some space. 3)use the plastic spark plug distributor cap thing as a tool to remove the plug once its loosened. Dont be afraid to tackle this job your self....

16 mpg highway?! - Page 6 -...

FYI, on the way back I adjusted my cruise from 75ish to 65ish, and averaged a MPG of 19.3 up from 16.7. That flat windshield really does not like speeds over 70..

If you could find someone to trade with. But if ya go out and buy a new one, well that's a lot of gas money that would take awhile to pay for itself. I'd keep it myself.

I hope I have used the right term to express my problem.
The same problem happened before 10 months or more, when I noticed a black smoke coming out the exhaust when I hit the gas when the car isn't moving. When I hit the gas while the RPM is 600-700RPM, the RPM goes below 500, it feels the engine is going to shut off, and then it goes back to normal. On ScangaugeII, the ignition appears in...

There are transmission oil lines which run to and from the radiator. Both ports are on the driver side "tank" of the radiator. Whether or not this serves any "cooling" function is debatable. My previous vehicles' factory setup which had similar lines plumbed into the radiator did more harm than good, as the fluid was actually heated rather than cooled. This helps transmission function in the ...

hey bud, if you remove the big black cover on top of engine you will see 3 black covers on one side and 3 on the other they all have a bolt holding them in. under these are the sparkplugs. remove bolt then pull off boot. the passenger side is a breeze to get to and the driverside fron is easy. for the back 2 you will need to remove the black bracket that is in your way, i just loosened mine and...
