I'm glad to see what we say here can be edited at the click of a button. What i said in my earlier post was so bad and vulgar and obscene well ya i can see the reason to remove such a vulgar post!!!! So we are not entitled to speech that is free in this forum. I'am not a fan of ANY Miller equipment nor will i EVER be. Thanks Jason Zenk

FIBERGLASS BODY SIDE
Published (2009-12-18 16:04:54)
I know they had a test body for a 5030 in the late 1990's early 2000 but it never really developed since the aluminum was doing a better job. As a matter of fact the unit I know of was on a KW T-600 and was for sale not to long ago. It looked to be a ex-Road One unit. Can't recall who was selling now though...

over 100 hits and no answers, guess nobody knows why manufactures do what
they do,,,,, these trucks will need to be worked on why the hell would they
box in the fittings, hoses and the top pin, so you cannot access them
without cuting a hole in the body...........

Dante, as far as i know, no there is no fiberglass Heavy body produced by
Miller, they just recently built a fiberglass body for a V30 that will be
at the Baltimore show, maybe Kipp or John can correct me if needed...

The issue can be territorial, so please note. Ironically, two years ago the complaints where just the opposite. Newer winches ( the past two years)
will have a tensioner plate with five springs (this was a successful attempt to keep the winch from back lashing). Your can remove a couple of the springs,
but that will not probably help. Changing the oil will have a positive result. ...

I think you need to either decide if you want to do trucking or towing! When
you start doing RGN work you need the tractor to be light as you can and
still strong enough to handle the stress of the job.The weight requirements
will hamper you on heavy loads with all the extras on the tractor. You only
see drag winches on company trucks pulling there own stuff they normally
are not a for hire company...
