If you don't mind what was you hooked to?I winched one the other night and about the only thing I found of substance was the axle.It had hooks but I didn't feel safe with them as they appeared to be for tie downs.Thanks Kenny

I try to do the same, especially on the big companys, we do some work for those guys, they follow those damn gps all the time!

Dan, I prefer to pull the wire rope out by hand. It's just easier not to pull out too much off the drum and keeps the wrap nicer.

I do believe I have seen this type of recovery played out off a k-rail in a training session....VERY clean job there Pat!

been awhile since i seen a 525 holmes.....just a question.....would it have been possible to get to the rear and do a lift and slide?? Just wondering as going out frontwards put alot of stress on the pin and fifthwheel.....job completed..well done!!

Looks good, nice day for that kind of job! I would have cut the straps just for the reason of alot of weight and don't need anyone getting hurt trying to undo those straps. P.S- Nice trucks!
