If you would like to finish in the money any given week you need to be par or better from 7,000+ yards and quick greens.
The competition is fun and the events are well run. You will find some Can Tour players that are local playing out there as well as guys who go to Can Tour Qschool every year.

"impromptu" can be any of the 3-10 tee times organized officially at various clubs: I obviously only gave three examples, but I know Kings Forest, Whistle ...

Highest score 91 at Glen Cedars
Pretty pleased with my play. Consistent.
Highlights were chipping in three times in one round and missing an ace by an inch.
