The only thing that bugged me about this was at the end it was said that 2k3 Shredder will return even though his entire body was obliterated.

It was overall one of the better action cartoons of the 2000's.
As a huge fan of the original TMNT cartoon, and having grown up with the original series in the late 80's and 90's, I absolutely loved the 2k3 take on the franchise. It had big shoes to fill, after all the original show lasted 10 seasons and made 193 episodes, so this show had a lot to do to gain acceptance.
The 4kids show ...

Hmm... I don't think this takes place right after the 5 episode pilot of the 80s cartoon. It COULD take place just about any time after that I suppose... though they do refer to them as the 88 characters.
I'm soooooo excited. Just 7 hours away for me!

Even if you're excluding adult comedies like Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Futurama, etc...
Action cartoons such as the end of the DCAU, Teen Titans, TMNT 2k3, X-men Evolution, and a few other shows is why it seems like there is a lack of serious American shows nowadays.
It doesn't help matters that both Marvel and DC are skewing younger nowadays, excluding Wolverine and the X-men ...

Wait... if you go with Top 20 then your points are worth more? That seems odd.
For this kind of thing to work well you really should cap it at 10 or maybe 15. If you make it 20 counting all that will be QUITE a pain. So keep that in mind.

Okay, so it's halfway through the episode...and I'm still posting after midnight.
"Welcome back to our fans."
"I'm missing the whole A-story."
"Pass her as quickly as you can. Nobody wants a two-parter."
"What do you do when Der Kommisar's in town?"
Also, Miracle in her student outfits = teh sex.
I'm still miffed about the time slot, but hey, it's back on the air!

Wow this is quite the shock. 4Kids must really be desperate if they're selling such a major property off.
I'm amazed Mirage is selling off their rights though. That means the end to the comic book series completely I would think, since they were the ones releasing that, which also means Eastman and Laird are out of the picture for good now.
This is better than WB owning it at least, ...

Why does it look like it was drawn on MS Paint or something? That obviously was not drawn by hand.

I guess I was lucky, coming around at the tail end of the hippie era (I was born in '69), because my parents never forbade me from watching any cartoons, though the more mature stuff I had to watch under their supervision.

Yes and no. Kids will always watch cartoons on Saturday mornings, but not on "adult" stations such as Fox or CW. They'll be on children's netowrks such as Cartoon Network, Nicktoons or Disney XD.

A overall great list of animated features who make this decade (minus to Wall-E i never want to rewatch it again) especially the luck to see indepedent films instead to the same Disney/Don Bluth films we endured since many years. (Here where i live, they don't give many respects to indepedent artists.)
Sita Sings the Blues is a logic choice for #1 rank. The animation is alive, the different ...

It all depends on the show. South Park is still doing very well, from what I see of the 80s Ninja Turtles it actually got better later on, in my opinion, while The Fairly Oddparents and Family Guy have suffered in quality.
Though, admittingly, most shows I can think of that lasted that long have suffered.
