Episode 1 of Druaga was a work of genius. (Especially "that" scene) Hey, wait a minute, why isn't Nogizaka Haruka Season 2 on this list?

The inner-monolgue really doesn't make any sense, nor does it reflect the original intent of the Japenese production crew...not to mention it's just another instance of 4Kids-esque decisions in a dub filled with dozens.

Eh, a better one would be Rebuild. Like Watchmen if they did the tropes.

Much better with the BGM . Definitely could have done without the narration though but Gohan's added dialogue does add a nice little touch if you ask me. Quote: He feels what slipping? His hold on himself, trying to keep himself from letting his repressed emotions out I guess.

Well, The Elfen Lied anime is totally more violent than the fist of The North star anime, cause Fist of The North Star totally censored the violence from the manga while Elfen Lied dint. But i must say, having read both the original manga of Elfen Lied and the one for Fist of The North Star, i think Fist of the North Star is more violent in their original medias. Theres just something about seeing peoples body parts explode and their guts or...

Well, at least you're watching it. Just promise me one thing. Watch the first 8 episodes. If, by then, you still feel the same about it, I won't insist you watch any more. However, I doubt that will happen. That's not to say it doesn't get any better after that point, because it sure as hell does, but that's the climax of the first arc, and if you really don't like anything up to that ...

I'm not particularly familiar with what the Japanese do and don't find objectionable on TV, but has there been a reason why Kai has taken out several "questionable" things (buckets of blood when Piccolo kills Goku/Raditz, Goku's male member, flipping the bird)? Are standards stricter in Japan than they were in the early 90's?

I don't know, I havn't watched either yet. But I heard Elfen Lied sucks and is a glorified harem show, and that Fist of the North Star is awesome. I heard that Kenshiro takes a skyscraper to the face. That sounds pretty violent/awesome to me. I'm waiting for those DVDs of the original series to come out. Dub or not, I can't wait to see this show.

I remember this series on Canal Famille in Quebec. It was awesome. The first part of the series was more an adventure but in the later parts you see some dark things like Toppy that wanted to commit suicide because he was depressed and his own company lost too much money. Friendship was the main theme of the series. Rana and Giraf wanted to help Toppy at that point. Bring this on ...

Bad dialog, bad acting, and horrible voices. John Burgmeier (sp?) as Tenshinhan is one of the few that i can stand. Sean Schemmel grew on me. I can't stand Tiffany Volmer's Bulma. I do like the voice of Chichi. The best cast villain is Cell. Most of the actors sound very forced. Oh, 18 has a very sexy voice.

I'd say that it has aged rather well. SEED itself has a pretty decent lead, Kira. The story itself is also rather interesting, a Coordinator is forced to fight against his own kind in order to protect his friends. Perhaps not original, but certainly interesting. I'll say that one of the larger issues I have with the series are with Athrun. In general, his character just kind of annoys me. Not...

I still prefer the sub. The dub is great and there are some voices that are just as good and in some cases better like Kurama's but i still prefer the dub. It's also really cool that the voice for Hiei is also the voice for Link in Ocarina of Time. Yeah, the american version of smile bomb sounds better, but i wouldn't say runs circles around it. here's my preferences for the respective ...
