round ligament pain this early???
Published (2009-11-28 23:30:00)
I don't have it yet, but I noticed when I was pregnant with our 3rd that it happens sooner with each one and it hurts more. I've been told it is normal. It still scares me each time it starts to happen. Try a warm compress of a nice bath with epsom salts. That always helps me. Hugs,

Hi!! Has anyone else had round ligament pain..... immediately, during your 5th pregnancy?? I always get it, but I never get it till like 12 weeks. Now, I have to be super duper careful on how I twist and turn, if not, YIKES!! I hope it's normal. Please, any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Holly

small freak out

thanks ((Martie)), i can always count on you for a calm voice of reason. I am just so not used to being pg during this time of the year. And, you are so right it will slow to a snails pace soon enough. Also, I waited so long to let myself get emotionally attatched so that kind of results in a quickening effect i thnk. Oh, and today we are having J's friends BD party at a fun place. So on to the business of life. no time to freak out...

LOL Martie I keep repeating to myself the mantra you told me before, of how it takes your fertility about 2 years to get a new baby or whatever, and now I am dying laughing - and not to mention insanely jealous! I know I will get my 5th baby most likely but I cannot stand getting AF every month while waiting you lucky dog! Also, you have such adorable children and now you get to have an 8th! That is so cool Martie!

Anyone with state health insurance?
Published (2009-11-24 13:58:00)
Hi there, I can't help with the health insurance aspect either, but I have BTDT with moving to the States after having two babies in Europe.? It was different, a bit more intervention-y, but in the end, it was really find.? I just decided to go with the flow for baby #3 and see what the OB system was like.? It was really okay, but I did switch to a MW for baby #4 and had a great experience with that.? I guess with state insurance you may...

anyone with echo during pg?
Published (2009-11-26 22:44:00)
Sher, I had tons of palpitations for several weeks early in my last pregnancy. My OB sent me to cardio to get a Holter monitor, which I wore for 24 hours. Even though I was having enormous amounts of palpitations (my heart would skip a beat several times a minute and then sort of flip-flop and start again), the cardiologist who read it said they were a completely harmless kind. I'm sure yours will be nothing!

Breathe in & breathe out. Once the first trimester is over, the 2nd trimester flies. The good news is that from 34 weeks on, time will really slow down. lol Remember to take lots and lots of pictures to document this wonderful time in your life. :) Hugs,

Wow, Janelle! I can't believe you already had your u/s! I'm so glad you still get your surprise at the end of the pregnancy, but I must admit that I was a bit bummed to hear that this little one was not very cooperative about sharing his/her gender! LOL I'm always impressed with mammas who can hold out until the end. I'm SO impatient and wouldn't make it all the way through the u/s without...

I've had palpitations after I've given birth (during the first month PP) but not during pg. I hope you get a good report next week. I am glad all is well and you can feel this baby moving and grooving. I can't wait for that. :) Hugs,

I am so happy for you Jennifer. What a relief it must have been to see things progressing properly. I know you are still worried, but try and enjoy this. You deserve it.

I am not sure, Angie. I would think that just moving to the states and not having a set job, should qualify you. I think once your dh starts working, you'll have to submit proof of income once a month or so. Try not to worry. It'll all work out. Hugs,
