It's a real credit to the software creator of the excellent Trip Master plug in application that he continues to adjust his application every time TomTom manage to disable the interface to his software with every update, since the removal of the SDK a lot of third party apps have failed to work, but given time I hope this latest issue can be resolved so we get a great capability back to the devices - Mike

You just plug it into your mini-USB cable and it will charge (assuming it's recognized).

Thanks for the tips. It definitely doesn't stick to plastic or it doesn't seem to stick to anything in the 207 that isn't glass! (and I didn't get any adhesive disks with it but having said that I think I'm now happier with the spot I've chosen on the windscreen). I still can't get it off of the windscreen easily but at least it isn't falling off by itself. The waypoint tip was really helpful as well. I...

The GPS Summary screen may show a list of satellites its trying to search for. Unless the bars are blue its simply searching for those satellites. Once the columns go blue that means its receiving a signal from that satellite. If you've done the reset (Holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds or using the paper-clip reset on the bottom for same amount of time) The only thing I could suggest is removing the app and reinstalling it.

Navcore 8 did indeed kill custom menu features on various TT units. The only resolution for the moment is to downgrade to an earlier version of software. Here's a link to where you can find them: http://www.oldboy.me.uk/TomTomUpdates/index.html

Normal procedure is: 1) set your phone to discoverable in bluetooth preferences 2) in the Tomtom, go to Tomtom PLUS services and follow the prompts 3) you'll need to do sprint-specific settings. It's not that easy, see here for some directions.
