Actually, I don't know where to share this... but this is something can take us into the thoughts again... so I thought that it would be better to share in here. Everything begins with imagination... as Einstein says Do we want to know or do we want to be fooled? Tonight, I watched a film/DVD... It was so impressive and so nice. Fascinated me. And when I watched this, I told to myself it should have been a novel, I mean it should have...

S Oh I don't know, there's much more excruciating entertainment out there than just feeding a few christians to lions. They now use conveyor belts called X Factor and Reality Big Brother to give the public the blood they seem to crave.

Well, despite all the commercial hype I still enjoy Christmas as a mid winter spell og good cheer. I only get into the mood when I attend church and sing carols with all the others around me - part of a village community thing.

I think we should return to a pre Victorian Christmas..... The Victorians began the commercialisation and the crappiness. But then I would ban all religion anyway. Perhaps we could replace Christmas with some entertainment involving christians and lions.... S

There have been instances of extreme cruelty inflicted by Nuns....reason....sexual frustration. There have been instances of sexual abuse by preists....reason..sexual frustration. Sex should be practiced for pro-creation and not pleasure. The Catholic faith is a load of bunkum from start to finish.

Hi AJ if you understand Duns Scotus' theology, your example is a case of linear accidental causality. Because all of this would not have happened if the cat had not been hungry before hand, but his/her presence at the time at TESCO was not necessary for all your woes. You were there alone without cat. It is only non-linear if the causal aspects (e.g.cats) are co-present at the same ...

Thank you, at least I think so, for those thoughts. Very unclear and jargonistic. Sorry, not suitable for a forum such as this IMO. Time as far as I am concerned is linear, unidirectional. Like stepping into a river - never the same river.
