I have had complaints posted and not posted on the DRI website. Does anyone have any idea why the Europeans would be given the latitude that we in the US are not given? Does Europe have a stranglehold on freedom of speech/complaint that we don't have?

DRI has made considerable improvements over this time last year. The online system is very user friendly at this point in time. I have no problems searching online, making reservations, checking on reservations, making periodic payments on my accounts or even looking up the rules of THE Club. When I have had a problem or question I've recieved a responce and a follow up phone call to make sure all my concerns/questions have been adressed....

What I have found interesting is that even when I can't book a particular week (with Wyndham) they seem to find availability for me via their rental company... IF I want to pay! I had three weeks to book in 2009 which included one banked week. Even at the last minute they had some time available for me, but not weeks I wanted. I ended up depositing two of those into Interval and just used 5 nights from the remaining week while in the area...

I was just at SLB a few weeks ago using DRI points. I can tell you the place was full. We added 2 more nights using owner bonus time. I had to call the 800 number and the only thing available was a mini suite (that's what we own.) This was for Fri & Sat. The front desk called when our mini was ready on Fri morning and we carted our stuff over. Lots of folks were checking out but by 4pm the place was full again. This is waayyy off...

Balcony cabin for $350/person on a 7 day cruise is definitely a good deal regardless of what cruise line or destination. You did very well. Congrats.

I believe it is improving. I am not especially happy with the maintenance fees. I have 10,000 points and belong to the US Collection. My fees for next year aree $1544. That's about $500 more than 3 years ago when Sunterra still owned it.
However, DRI has added many affiliates which has saved me from having to trade so much. In addition, they have made some visible improvements that ...
