Costco or BJ's?

Costco. In addition to having excellent quality products, they have good labor practices, too. Restaurant Depot is good for some things, but as far as I know you need to have some relationship with a restaurant. I go with a friend of mine who's a caterer. They seem to take the business thing seriously.

Costco, and they have the most liberal return policy.

Leftovers?
Published (2009-11-28 11:28:00)
Our two sons were both home for TG this year. We went out last nite but will have leftover turkey, stuffing, potoes and candied sweet pot. tonite. My favorite tho is turkey sandwiches. When I was a kid my father always wanted to eat about 1:00 or 2:00 on Thanksgiving just so he was ready for turkey sandwiches about 7:00 or 8:00 that evening!! lol I guess I take after him as that is kind of my favorite part also!! lol

Costco or BJ's?

Whichever you pass by the most often. We were Costco members for years and years, before BJs was in the area. After a while I realized I was up by Costco once a month but passed by BJs 3xweek and it was less congested. I do miss the heck out of Costco's spinach salad though. BJs fresh veggies and fruits, at least by me, aren't as good.

Costco or BJ's?

They are pretty much the same distance. I seem to remember Costco wouldn't give me a guest pass because I had been a member a number of years prior. BJs used to send me "two week" memberships, but it's been a while. The BJs guest pass I found online says that the "non member 15% surcharge will be deducted from your membership fee if you join..." hmmph I guess I'll just join Costco. Costco is...

Leftovers?

[quote=jericap;358420]I love making turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce sandwiches, with a little mayo........yum. Mine too. Since my dil does Thanksgiving now, I don't get to enjoy the leftovers any more.

I belong to both. Each carries different products that I prefer. I think both have guest memberships. Go to their websites and see if you can download a certificate for a 1 day membership.

No leftovers this year- had dinner at a friend's. Hot turkey sandwiches are common usually, with a casserole and soup as well.

Wacky,
I asked DH because he is usually good at this stuff. He surprised me by saying he had no idea. He usually has an opinion if not the right answer. My astronomer son will be here on Wed night and he may have thecorrect answer if no one else here has it. I'll check with him anyway defore he goes back to Va on Fri.

Sorry you were unseated--what a great cause to be riding for. (Also, glad you are back riding again; that must be a very good feeling, indeed.)
