October 31, 2009 Me and my wife attended a seminar for VACATION PARADISE REWARDS, out of
Desert Hot Springs, CA. We paid 6,000.00 cash for the right to access their site and search for greatly reduced rates on 5 star condo's. Has anyone delt with this group. They failed to mention the right to cancel, but I know its in the paper work. I just need some quick and good ...

My personal feeling about DRI is that you should buy US collection points resale and
save yourself about $10,000. They will not be in the club but they will get you into the 19 resorts in the US collection.
If you absolutely must have them in the "club", then buy a resale week at some super cheap DRI, then buy just a few more points direct from DRI with the condition that the resale week be ...

What are ''next generation'' points? It sounds like those with ''old'' points may soon be in the crapper. That is the way a number of older points programs in Europe have worked, and in South Africa as well. Is RCI playing
the same game?

I hadn't heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me. The thinking certainly is in line with the "eliminate the breaks for the big guys" mentality that is creeping into lots of places these days. I know that BG seems to be making it a little less advantageous each year to own tons of points so that the little guy is "protected".

To get an idea of what your points might be you can go here:

RCI PFD grid)
Both weeks and points have their great moments. The last minute grab of weeks with points is a wonderful concept. I love grabbing stuff for between 7.5k and 9k plus an exchange fee. There are other examples of points being the hands down winner such as having ...

Don't forget you also have the right to "rent" half of your annual allotment directly from RCI each year.
Currently, I'm only aware of three resorts who are offering this type of ownership.: Club Trinidad in California,
Tree Tops in Pennsylvania, and Sandstone Creek in Colorado.
Contact persons for each are as follows:
Club Trinidad- Bill Riney (913) 927-5778 (he advertises on ...

Anyway, with the RCI points, what is the
exchange fee for the 45 day "last minute" weeks that are 7 - 9,000 points?
Is it the same as a "regular" 7 night points reservation ($139??), or is it less?
