As some of you have stated, he will have an opportunity to be a weekend starter. Del has pitched the last two summers and has shown improvement. More improvement this summer than last. His numbers were not that good in the Cape but he rebounded well in the Texas Summer League. But wait a minute guys ... don't you kow that it is damaging for a kid's self esteem to actually lose a game? Aren't we supposed to be teaching that everyone wins all of the time and that there are no losers in games? with this being Del's draft year, I'd take the bat off his shoulders and concentrate on making him a full-time pitcher, either a weekend guy or closer
