Yes newer is really better, but maybe not in terms of design appeal... Technology and driver safety has come a long way... can't really compare a '59 with something that was designed and built in 2009. Run a crash comparison, 1909 vs 1959 chevy... .

Pretty light in the rear to get sub-10 second 1/4 mile times. But anything with that much power should be fun. I wouldn't drive it in the rain though!!!

headers will open up the flow alot and are a great bang for the buck...IF you get long tubes, a you will more than likely need a tune with the headers because they will be moving or maybe removing the factory cats, so you will need to get a tune to dummy the rear o2 sensors. look around at tuners, sct makes a great product, and half the thing with buying a tuner is what shop you get it from ...

I've been camping/riding out of vans since 1988 and never regretted a moment - my buddies with their travel trailers and motor homes don't get it and have been ribbing me about it for years ...need my stove to cook on? need to pee in my toilet? why don't you get a real toyhauler?...Frankly, I tell them, I enjoy being ouside in the great outdoors, not being inside like at home, the challenge of ...

Ouch....at least you caught your mistake.
My brother did the same thing with a car with a MT that contained 90 wt......couldn't figure out why it was coming out so slow, either.
He doesn't attempt his own work any more.

Without making an assumption but instead asking a question, are either of your friends with the Dodge or Duramax monkeying with them with tuners, etc? I did injectors on my LB7 Duramax this year, and I'm at 175,000 miles on the clock. Other than the injectors failing ( common stock issue on that truck) it's been great WITHOUT tweaking the fuel delivery.
Thing is, all brands have issues with ...

Here is our 2005 Weekend Warrior 2100FB Super Lite. Fully loaded with on board genny, A/C, exterior lights, stereo, fuel station, etc. We bought it in early Aug 2009 and it had been used twice and the genny only had 10 hours on it.

Lots of people like the Trojan T105 batts, wired in series. Expensive and heavy though. Lots of people are using the Costco 6V batts and seem to be happy with them. Go to RV.net, look in toyhaulers and there should be a stickie about 6V batteries. If not you can find all there is to know in search. They are the Thumpertalk of RV's.

I think the Tacoma is going to hold it's value better than the Frontier over the years. If I had to choose one over the other, I would go with the Tacoma. They seem to hold together quite well, get decent fuel mileage and has a 6,500# tow rating.

If you want to lift it for cheap look in to a shackle reversal for the front, it will ride better too.

I know that the 04 F-250, and 05 Excursion have the 8 on 170..pretty sure the rim will fit, also I think it'd depend on the tire you'd put on if it'd rub or not
