my 08 lincoln mark lt (basicly f150) holds my polaris rzr on the bed i back it into the bed and the front tires sit about an inch from the end of the tailgate. i have loaded it like this multiple times without any issues. you should see if they make a bed extender for the tundra and if they do make them explain y they make a bed extender if no weight should be put on the tailgate.

Probably not. Do you have a brake controller? Most newer trucks are pre wired for one. Usually the wires are tucked up inside under the dash for it. Check your owners manual.

Just like the title say me and my brother went in and bought one and got a hell of a deal due to the economy.
My truck is an 07 four door 6.0L gas motor, 4spd trans, 2wd with 8k on the odometer, towing package and pulling this trailer with a quad and two dirt bike in the bed and I averaged 15mpg round trip.
Bro truck...

Not to be a buzzkill but keep in mind when you start adding the plywood, mellanine, steel/aluminum and stuff you are taking away from your load capacity. If you have a 2 axle trailer you shouldn't have any worries. I have a 6 x 12 from Unversal that I started to build upthen bought a WW2300. I really want to keep the small trailer but I have storage issues. I used Blingstar fold down chocks in ...

I used to haul a crf 250r, an 85 and two pitster pros on a 5x8 utility trailer, it was tight, but it can be done. Three bikes forward and the last pit bike sideways on the very back of the trailer.
Sorry no pictures

So I have a 91 f250. Great. I can turn the headlights on and they will have no issues what-so-ever for as long as I need them. Now if I turn on the high beams, after about 2 minutes the lights will flash at a consistent rate. If I switch back to low beams the lights are fine. Now I'm not sure if the high beams are over ...

That truck is far from Ugly.
I had a 1988 Ford Bronco and loved the hell out of that thing. Your truck is the same body style as my Bronco was.
If I had to buy an older truck it would be one just like yours. Or I would buy another Bronco.

I'm a Ford guy myself, but look for 03 or newer, as it'll be Common Rail, easy motor to get power out of and better injection system imo

I guess I don't too much about the EGR system on that vehicle, but it definitely sounds like a lean condition.
I would suspect that you have low fuel pressure caused by a clogged filter or failing fuel pump. I would definitely check the fuel pressure at the rail. Could also be clogged injectors or a clogged fuel rail.

Did you look for used toyhaulers at all? I've seen some of them going for pretty cheap. I'll be looking for one in the spring. The downside is they seem to weigh quite a bit more than TTs.

The polished aluminum modular ones would be my first pick. They look a lot like the factory alcoas of that era. They wouldn't look flashy at all. Either those or the black wagon wheels, can't go wrong with those.
Nice looking truck by the way.

you might want to try grease in the u-joints .wd-40 won't even get passed the grease seals .a blown t-case output seal won't make a squeak , if its a bad leak check the fluid level in the t-case .
does it constantly squeak as you go down the road ? can you hear it with the windows up ? all the gears ?
does it do it more or instantly if you stomp on the throttle in first gear ?
try ...

Without making an assumption but instead asking a question, are either of your friends with the Dodge or Duramax monkeying with them with tuners, etc? I did injectors on my LB7 Duramax this year, and I'm at 175,000 miles on the clock. Other than the injectors failing ( common stock issue on that truck) it's been great WITHOUT tweaking the fuel delivery.
Thing is, all brands have issues with ...

I would go with 12V and a converter. That way you can run it both ways. It would suck to kill your generator and have no lights. Also, if you are ever camped somewhere with a curfew it will be lights out time when your generator has to be shut off.
