I have found that they are all pretty much the same. I have Attack Graphics #'s and backgrounds from RM and they are nice and hold up well to punishment. $30 but you can really jazz them up with your name and sponsors etc etc.

Remove all Advertisements I am looking for some custom number plates for my bike. I've done a lot of searching but still can't decide... Its hard to picture what a certain design will look like on the bike. If you've got custom number plate numbers made, post some pics and where you had them done... Thanks

I like 250 two strokes , all that torque is so much fun. 5th gear wheelies on demand are fun too.

Will do! Like I said, I'm selling the RM (Minus some trick bits and the DR-Z suspension) in the new year, to get something new! Still a two stroke , but it might be a left over 08 RM250, or it might be a 2010 Husky WR250 (so changin that moniker to match my 500's) I will post when the XC's bearings get out of spec enough to be changed. Is it just me running an hour meter on my two strokes, or does anyone else?

I bought an old AMA Supercross WORKS RM from CL from a guy who won it at Loretta Lynns years ago and was collecting it. I know, people say you can NEVER own a works bike but I have the original certificate of origination that was signed over to TUF when the bike was new. 100% Authentic. Keith Bowen rode the bike in 1992 and it still has the original sealed AMA Tech Inspection on the plate. The ...

I would just buy the new head. by the time you mess around with maching and running race gas etc etc it will cost you a small fortune.

Get a service manual first! It will tell you everything you need to know, then go to rocky mountain . com and get a case splitter, bearing puller, torque wrench, impact driver (a screw driver you hit with a hammer) a flywheel puller, a crank puller and I think thats it.
Its pretty easy, but make sure that the tranny doesn't fall apart on you. If you have to take the tranny apart label ...

Woot My bike just needs new floats in the carb. No air leak, just green gas that was of a too high viscosity to flow through jets in a carbatator. Here is my baby, I washed it but it turned into an icicle.

I did my first ride Sunday on 2 new MX51. Went all day without dumping it! I'm sure it was my crap front tire that kept washing out on me durring past rides.
It was extreme sharp rocky trails. Tires look to have not suffered any damage from the abuse.

You''ll need to post a pic because I have no idea what part of the clutch assembly you are talking about. Is it the gear on the back of the outer basket, is it the inner basket or hub????

They kind of look like the Michelin MS3's. I have the MS3's and I hate them. Worst tire ever for a 2T. Just my opinion though.

Do you use choke when its cold?? If it will start easily when cold (without choke) but wont when warm it could be a sign of a rich pilot circuit. I had similar issues on my RMX, I pulled the carb apart and found pilot jet was way too big.
Also check your compression.
