www.fitday.com has a calorie counter like you describe. I was pretty impressed by the food database in my first couple of days using it.

Why have you decided to go with a spin bike instead of getting a nice road bike and an indoor trainer? IMO, a spin is too limiting. Ebay always has some screaming deals on good bikes. You could get a good trainer or rollers plus a bike for less than what you will pay for a spin bike. Plus you have the benefit of taking it outside for scenic riding.

If they are a size large, you can send them to me. I will test them out for you and report back with my findings. Seriously though, I can't help. I don't own them....yet. I will be getting a set when my ACL resurrection is complete. My son has them and hasn't had any issues. He also loves them. Are you wear those "sleeves" or longer socks with them? That's all I got, sorry.

Minimal information to draw conclusions from, however: Are you sure you're drinking enough water and getting enough food? It makes a difference at the end of a long day. http://stronglifts.com/ is a good site for overall strength. Squats and deadlifts are great for the legs/posterior strength. 3-4 hrs a day might be a bit much to start out with, you will only injure yourself. I'm not sure how far away you live from your gym but if you could ride a bike to the gym and then do some resistance training once there for a hour. Then of course with the ride home you'd have a pretty solid workout. Make sure your routine does not become stagnant as your body will adjust fast and it will become...
