I attended the Auburn meeting on 10/9. Tom Quinn (Forest Supervisor) and Dave Arrasmith (Team Leader) did most of the presentation. Mr. Quinn stated that the Nevada City meeting had approximately 200 in attendance. Sierraville approximately 20, and Squaw Valley approximately 35. I know I did another post on this, but I thought a new one might be a little easyier to read. We will be out in Cal City with the family Oct. 24th, 25th, & 26th if anyone would like to join us. I am hoping to do a Husky ride with the family if they are up for it. Since it's the familys first ride in a long time I don't know if they will be up for it. That ride is about 65 miles I think....

I got a letter form Sequoia National Forest about a change to the travel management process. Due to the fires and the unknown condition of the trails in the burned area there is a suspension of planned actions for the trails in the Piutes.
