Gotcha.... For the past events, we have been using GMRS/FRS radios. While those work fine, they have their limitations....range in valleys not so great but acceptable since my sweep teams work in pairs allowing one to run up a hill for better reception while the other attends to a downed rider. More oil, cooler oil is always better for longevity. The conversion to the single cavity does come with some down side. I won't or can't explain it here cause I will get the details wrong due to old man memory stuff, but Maico Bill from HT racing laid it out for me once and there is some case elevation conflict that won't give the conversion the same benefits or maybe capacity as the RFS motor. Anyway I'm just killing time...

The error message I get is The file cannot be read because it uses a susequent file version. This program can read MPS files as well as GDB files version 2 And below. What now?

Any idea who will determine where VCPs are located? Or who will determine fair or cheat lines?
I would expect (except that we're speaking of score) the person(s) determining these areas to be a long-time Baja racer(s), having competed many times in SF events as well as Ens. based events, at a competitive level (meaning racers who look for race lines, not just ride alongs).

Nice to see that not only has "Chain Guides" progress with SCORE been invaluable... but the course being marked electronically has stepped up too. Now with VCPs (49 of them), and more of the alternate lines (24 of them) being addressed... I think it's being better explained, better patrolled and the information is getting out to the teams rather well.

If the kick start/e-start issue was not a deal breaker for you, the 650R is the way to go, the choice of many Baja pirates.
