Have you checked the spam folder? The emails you've sent could be automatically filed in the spam folder... are you using the web client or another client like Outlook to access your mail? Though, if you've recieved one mail (the exception) it should matter.

I once used the yahoo plug in and it did the same thing you talked about, I uninstalled it and it went away. So have a look at what plug ins you have running on firefox and try uninstalling them

1. Yes usually roaming would cost a lot. A local call overseas would still be a international call. If Canadians call you you will have to pay to listen to them too. 2. Up to you really. Pros and cons. 3. You may get a USB that plugs into the wall charger. 4. Dunno. Maybe a wall corded in the bathroom. 5. You need to be sure that the device is supported in EU. I think CA uses 120V right and EU is on the 240V. If you get chargers it will tell...

Yeah so thats the pros and cons: but be aware of the security too: The new virus, dubbed "Duh" after a section of its code, also only affects iPhones that have been "jailbroken", the jargon term given to the process of altering the device to allow it to run pirated apps or those that were not approved by Apple for its App Store. But security researchers say the new version is far more sinister, connecting the phone to an...

Nikon P90 24X optical zoom, I shoot Nikon dSLRs but I prefer the Canon G series they are only 4-5X zoom but the picture quality is very good so you can crop images for printing without losing quality also they have brought out the new G11 so the G10 which is a very good camera is on sale all over.

Tried that to no avail (disabling all of them, running firefox in safe mode), doesn't do anything. Still crashes. Also: Why does the Internet Explorer starts running instead of Opera if I try to start Opera?

GPS

The more i look at your post tool4fools the more convinced I get I would put one to use. The bus and the wandering off in the jungle takes gave me more than one flashback experience where I would loved to have had a GPS.

If i can't resolve the problem, i will have to switch account eventually, but i would prefer not having to do that, hence my question. Yesterday, another odd mail came through, but not the ones i have been sending to myself, neither all the mails friends have been sending as a test. Isn't it strange that my partner who uses his yahoo account a lot, doesn't have this problem at all? Thank you both for thinking with me. Other...

The reason compact camera's with 10x zoom have rubbish image quality is because when at zoom they don't have the physical hardware (ie lenses) to zoom at that strength - they use digital zoom which is just software that artificially increases the zoom - it's the artificial zoom that degrades the image quality. If you want long zoom with great image quality you need to look at a proper dSLR... ...

you can select your departure airport or city (eg any NY airport) and leave the destination blank.
you can set a date, or search a whole month..
it caches queries, so relys on other people searching for fares from your airport to display a larger range of options. but give it a go. (its more popular in europe than the US..)

Peoples perceptions of high ISO has got muddled and generally we are spoilt these days with ISO1600 looking better than ISO 1600 film. The K-7 does have in body stabilistaion which should give you at least 2 stops as well.
Generally Pentax are very underated in terms of their dSLR's and their marketing is ordinary. but when it comes down to it, the K-7 will take great photos 99% of the time, ...

Have you tried World Nomads ? They have customised options for travel insurance and "expensive goods". I've not used them myself but they are often recommended by others and spoken about frequently ie they're well know, trusted.

Surprised that an unlocked Aussie phone is not working on T-mobile.
Jailbreaking then unlocking should get you around this.
It is a very simple process and despite all the warnings against it is not illegal and should anything go wrong you can easily go back to how it was.
this blog tells you how to do it and guy always answers his twitter account if you have issues or get stuck

I have only used a GPS for my last trip.
I had a Garmin 60CSx with the high sensitivity sirf chip. I went to Japan so I didn't have a Japan map. I used coordinates.
1. Google Map coordinates are only as accurate as the person who uploads them. I found my Guesthouse was actually 4km off the mark but fortunately towards the right direction.
2. For a place like Asia the street ...
