If I had to do it all over again, babe I'd do it all over you (Dylan song never recorded by him but by Dave Van Ronk & the Red Onion Jazz Band) La Guerre Est Finie/The War is Over (movie) Peromy: Frankie Yankovic . But I stand corrected. They are no relation. Weird Al respected Frankie as an accordionist though.

If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You (album by Caravan) It Could Be Sweet (Portishead song) (Thanks Vinny. I first heard that song in a rock version by the group Free Beer if I remember correctly. Wonderful song.) (chriskean, how were the Pixies?)

The Cohen song is all about ways & circumstances of dying : And who by fire, who by water, who in the sunshine, who in the night time, who by high ordeal, who by common trial, who in your merry merry month of may, who by very slow decay, and who shall I say is calling? And who in her lonely slip, who by barbiturate, who in these realms of love, who by something blunt, and who by avalanche, who by powder, who for his greed, who for his...

A Serious Man The Cohen bros. have done it again! Watched it at the cinema last night - nice to see them back in form, as frankly I wasn't that impressed by Burn After Reading. (No Country..., on the other hand, must range as one of the best films of the decade) What an eccentric, weird and absolutely lovely movie! Hopefully they will keep entertaining us for years to come.

I really enjoyed it too though a few other people I spoke to were disapointed for some reason. I'd definately like to watch it again sometime as I it seems like the sort of film where you'll notice more each time you watch it (and I also missed the short film bit at the start).

You need to read OK or Heat or the blasted red tops more regularly. Then you would be up with the play. To know if you are Team Jacob or Team Edward. Or if Cheryl or Colleen have the latest bags or if Jordan aka Katie Price has gotten engaged to her cross dressing professional wrestler (which I understand is a 'yes').

Besides My Name is Red, I remember giving up on Cormac McCarthy's All the Pretty Horses on page three, when I got to one of the worst paragraphs I've ever read anywhere. I made it to page 50 of My Name Is Read because a friend whose judgment I generally trust had highly recommended it. I decided to struggle through 50 pages to be sure I gave it a fair test. Otherwise I would have dropped it ...
