My mom takes the 100mg Minocycline before going to bed, so that she can sleep through the episodes of fatgue.
She is pretty much worried about the side-effects of a long term ABX treatment and will therefore have her blood tested every week (as it is recommended in the
package insert).

ACE, if you want to try something developed by an
aeronautical engineer, go ahead but if you really want to stand a chance of recovering from PPMS you must do the Vanderbilt antibiotic regime. If you take probiotics two hours apart from the antibiotics your good bacteria will not be harmed.
If I had messed around with MMS, my disease was progressing so quickly in the end that I would ...

Algis, you must take doxycycline with a
glass of water, or even better for people with sensitive stomachs, glass of milk. I used to take it first thing in the morning with a small glass of milk, after discovering that if I didn't take the milk, or at least water and biscuit or something, I would be as anything, even after not having eaten for twelve hours. You must do this to stop it ...

Ken, I was treated for my MS with
doxycycline, roxithromycin and pulses of metronidazole but on the assumption that I had a chlamydia pneumoniae infection, rather than lyme. Cpn is the main bacteria being investigated as causing MS. Neuro-lyme can appear very similar to MS but the good thing is that both infections will respond to the same antibiotics.
I was tested for both pathogens...

Agatha, I'm glad you managed a fantastic week on holiday: it shows that
better times are on the way.
When I was about eighteen months into treatment, I got rather careless with walking up and down stairs: I was carrying a half filled mug of soup or coffee back down to the kitchen when I misbalanced and slid down the last half dozen steps on my bum. Strangely enough, I managed to hold the...
