Intentionally "eating" something for the purposes of chew-spitting would set me up for some serious problems. It's best for me to stay away from foods I shouldn't have.

OMG!!!! I am ROTFLMAO at him licking his wife's steak!!!!!! I know someone who was only dieting and he admitted to me that he chewed and spit one of his well-known splurge foods. He said it solved his craving and he didn't have to feel guilty for eating it. I also think it is paving the way right to an eating disorder. From what I have read here, it sounds like these women are totally different from anything any of you have written...

Yes I have been feeling a little nervous and also excited. Just to think that this time next year I will be a healthier person. Hopefully wearing normal size clothes.

I remember my podmate Mike (fisher1000) posting (11.11.07) about licking a steak early out. It had me in hysterics.... miss you Mike ...: Quote: Originally Posted by fisher1000 Even at 7 weeks, I haven't yet dared to try a steak. However, I did lick one, and it was wonderful. You would think they would have spelled that out in the paperwork or a
least told you that when you scheduled your appointment. My first
appointment with the surgeon he just looked at my belly and prodded it a
bit. I needed to have several other exams by various other specialist, but
nothing gynecological.

I guess I will admit to this too. A month or so out of surgery, I chewed up a piece of pizza and stood over the sink and spit it out. I never had any intention of swallowing it.
I felt SO disgusted with myself after that. I just wanted to sit down and cry. I was totally ashamed.
I had a huge urge for a McDouble a few nights later and wanted to do it again (bad habits start easy, ...
