I think I was just hit by a ton of bricks.....I am suddenly scared shitless of this surgery. It is kinda like I am deciding to go ahead and get divorced from my one true love. I am going to be alone, broke and busted. I have not really been afraid before now. I am sort of afraid of dying. I am afraid of complications. I am afraid of not being able to turn to food whenever I am feeling stressed, bummed out, happy, sad, hungry....whatever....

I think it's normal. I felt pretty confident of my decision, but I did have some last-minute doubts. I just kept reminding myself of why I'd made the decision to have the surgery in the first place, and thinking of all the good things that were going to come from it. Kelly

I think those are great questions to be asking yourself. I have a good answer for you too. You feel full. The fact that you feel like you are satisfied is what helped me lose the weight. And being held accountable. If I eat sugar, I dump. If I eat too much, I puke. So on and so on. Yes, you will still struggle but it is easier to maintain because you don't eat as much.
