Folder in Dock - Alias Subdir
OK so I just got XAMPP Installed and running just the way I like it. All I want to do now is have a quick way to get to htdocs from the dock. So I put that folder in the dock so I would have access to all my site's root folders quickly. But the XAMPP

This can be annoying, especially on 13" screens. I usually put the Dock on one side to get around it.

A couple of suggestions, though I don't have 10.6 to run any tests. References below are to 10.5.
1. Trim the image files inside, e.g., /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Bluetooth.menu/Contents/Resources, to remove the white space right and left of the images that appear in the
menubar. I note that the Bluetooth menu has PDF images for each of 6 different possible Bluetooth states....

That would defeat one of the main purposes of
Time Machine, which is to provide you with a means to go back to any previous backed-up file, subject to the space constraints of the backup image. What would you propose to do when the latest version is not the only one that you want to keep? Time Machine simply saves it all.
As far as filling up the drive/image - it's your back up - if you need ...
