I'm sorry that you are having so much trouble switching over to the Mac platform. fluerty09 - Are you asking questions for yourself- or just commenting about the questions that others might ask?

Have you tried any sort of export at all from Outlook ? Good luck and if you...

Gruber did a great article about the differing methods of app installation here. I agree, this is a very frustrating level of "support". I often get the "somethings wrong, it gave me a message" "what did it say?" "I dunno". I often use analogies to explain computer stuff to luddites. Things like "the harddrive is a big library, and the computer has to go and look up in the library how to ...

We would like to be able to move my daughter's iMac G4 from our family room (where it is currently connected via ethernet to our DSL modem via a wired Netgear router) to her bedroom. The Netgear router is also a wireless device and currently supports an OS9 Powerbook and two XP laptops wirelessly. My daughter's iMac G4 does not have an Airport card installed...I purchased (for nine bucks) a ...

Firstly i am no fan of CleanMYMac and Norton Products on OS X. I would avoid them and uninstall. you dont really need anti virus that much....and some of tools may just end up causing more issues. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...01101516293 911 Copying System folder across will not work as a backup as permisisons will get dorked.....and is bad advice IMHO.

Looks like you got a set of OEM disks (or only disk 1 of 2? --- and from where?). Anyway, you can google on '2Z691-6248-A' for yourself. [i doubt anyone actually walks around with that sort of information in their head.]

If you have a second mac, try booting your macbook in firewire mode (hold "T" on boot) and plug it in to your second machine and run disk utility on it.
