Great Post Paul... I will contribute the following... If you are just starting out and you do not know what to do and your funds are very low or even nothing, then you can start with the below plan and build on it from there. Let's say I just started this great blog and now I need traffic so before I go give my great content away for free to some over glorified adsense article directory I think I will try the following... You can get...

Jeremy, good post. I think more marketers should follow your lead in that if you don't know how to presell, and have nothing else to say in between promos other than "stay tuned for this next promo" then just stay silent. I don't know who propagates this thinking, but "here it comes" emails and messaging is NOT a good way to presell and it never has been. Yes, keeping the list...

In my experience with Amazon (pay per sale), you don't even make few dollars per month. It is waste of time.
Instead create your own product and sell it.

PPC is hard work to get started. You will probably spend more than the $100 in testing and trying to make it profitable. However once you hit a good campaign and get it to work, you can make a lot more money than if you just rely on free traffic and SEO .
PPC is also great for building a list. Drive traffic to a squeeze page and get a list built quickly and easily.

It is possible - I've seen it with my own 2 eyes.
There were two identical PLR products in the fly fishing niche. Same sales page, same ebook name, same ebook graphics.
The ClickBank Marketplace titles/descriptions were different though.
I am not sure if they are both still listed there or not.
Good luck getting things sorted out!

Why don't you call it the "Super Giveaway" and give stuff away
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Not sure I get what you're looking for. Ideas on the types of giveaways?
Well, I think that most of the folks here have IM related ebooks, reports, software...have an IM giveaway event.
The "End of the Year Special".
Or, you can turn your site into a portal for other giveaway events....

Honestly, I'm not sure how someone would help you get self-discipline. You have to be the one to decide it's time to get it into gear and just do something.
I find it easier to focus on what I need to get done if I write a list of what I want to accomplish each day. Break large tasks down into smaller ones so they don't seem so overwhelming.
Stay away from YouTube and ...

Someone may eventually come forward and offer assistance. There most likely will be something you can do for them in trade or $$, but if you can''t find one here I am sure there are other forums out there you could ask this in as well

"Internet marketing isn't like traditional business."
Actually, it is. I made a go of it several times in the past, but it wasn't until I had a solid grounding in brick-and-mortar business that it "clicked" for me. Business, oddly enough, is business.

Heh...you make a good point. But it's just the way people are. They enjoy buying the easy dream, or the chance to find out something new, etc.
It's true, this information is available for free on the internet. But there you go.
