I always just used white beans and the recipe on the bag. Yum. They make canned beans taste ordinary. It has been years since I did them; no longer have the special bean pot or the friends who used to come and help us eat them (actually still have the friends, they just live too far away now)

DH and I have separate accounts, but we both have access to look into all of them. I am our bookkeeper anyway, so DH doesn't really look at mine. I hope your DH doesn't notice the ring is missing before you get it back.

Jill, I hope your little one stays happy as is for just a few more weeks! Ewww - manufacturing wet cat food! The only thing I can imagine that might be worse is the manufacturing of the formula DD had to be on when she was a baby. Anyone here ever have to use Nutramigen? It's partially pre-digested baby formula, and the company uses enzymes from pig pancreases in the process. They literally mix the formula, add the enzymes, monitor the...

Tami Lynne's story is very close to the story I'd tell. I'm sneaky like that. I love lying for a happy reason.

Thanks, everyone! It looks like a controller and a nun chuck separately would be about $54, so the bundles are about a wash. We're going to tell MIL to just get the basic unit. Keep the advice/comments coming, though--I need info for once the thing is here! If you are looking at the Wii Fit, I really EA Active more than the Wii Fit game (Active is a hardwork out). The great thing about the Balance Board is that it works with some other...

Shalini that's exactly the scenario I want to avoid...I've heard that inductions really up the likelihood of requiring a c-section that wouldn't have otherwise been necessary. I hope your doctor will be on board with a VBAC; if not, then hopefully you can find another one that will be. Thankfully you're still early enough that changing doctors isn't a scary prospect. I generally like my doctor, but I thought she was a...

Wow Missy - that sucks! At least they caught the guy though. Crossing my fingers for Jill that baby stays put awhile longer and that the OB/GYN is okay with that. Also crossing fingers for Alice's DD. Sorry about your meltdown Dagmar - I'm afraid it happens to the best of us now and then. Especially when we are sick and stressed.

PSPs come in 2 flavors - the PSP 3000 and the PSP Go. The PSP 3000 is the older model; it plays UMDs, Sony's proprietary format game and movie disks for
the PSP. The controls are on the front of the player to either side of the screen. You can also download games and movies.
The PSP Go does away with the UMD player and you download all of your games and movies to it. The controls pop-out from...

We have an HE front loader (GE) and love it! It uses much less water and doesn't walk across the floor. It can unbalance - you'll hear it clunk. But it
will stop itself, let everything fall to the bottom of the drum, then respin. There are some items that are guaranteed to make it clunk, so we strategerize our
washing - instead of doing only towels together, we do a half-towel, half-sheet load ...

Maybe have a couple of weeks worth of meals in the freezer? I have no
experience with the surgery, but I do hope it goes smoothly for you!

Where did everybody go? It's noon here and there's only one new post since I checked last night?
Well it's amazing what a good night's sleep will do for you when you're sick. I'm not feeling fabulous, but I'm feeling much more together
today than I did yesterday.

at the ugly watch comment. When I want to surpise my dh with something I plan ahead quite a ways so as to avoid the bank account giving me away. In a
couple of months I can withdraw on different days and make it seem like household expenses.

I have the same reaction!
I haven't seen the show, but Oprah did a segment about it. It was sad, because you could tell that some of them were going to slide right back into it as
time went on.

Oh yeah, I can top that....... While in college for one semester I did weekend 'cleaning' in the dorm I lived in. We were to clean the stair landings,
the bathrooms and remove the trash from the bathroom bins. There were some times that were really disgusting....... I don't think I need to spell it out.

No specific store, but if the girls aren't overly large anything with an empire waist should fit the bill.

No, you are not the only one. And I think trash picking is just about perfect! I hope that reality show she's trying to get on drops her like a hot
potato. They sound like over-aged celebrity groupies to me.

Perhaps they are trying to determine WHY he crashed his car at the end of the driveway at 2:35am? The WHY might determine if there was or was not any illegal
activity. WHY would you be so out of it after a "minor" accident at the end of the driveway? Did something happen to him before he got into the car?
If there was no wrong doing, then why not answer their questions? Or at least just say "no" ...

I will be sleeping in on Friday and enjoying my husband's waffles for breakfast. Unless there was a very expensive item I really, really needed - like
a major appliance - I won't go out. My Christmas shopping was done as of Sunday.
