It would be nice if I could get it all running before I really consier keeping or selling it. One thing I can do over the winter however is find out if there was any to convert all these terminal keyboards to work with newer hardware. It would be nice to have something other than this ugly dell keyboard working with my linux box. For now however the majority sits in storage until I can get a place with a lot more space. Honestly, if I had more...

Very neat collection Mr. Amiga and wthorbjo Thanks for all the pictures. Mr. Amiga, are those different areas of the house I take it or are they all in a dedicated work space? I'm still working on my setup to get it something more than piles of stuff and I'll post some pics finally. But it's a very slow project where I build something, move a few things then get in a little more to build something else for now. I think I have a...

Wow, that is indeed an impressive Holiday Haul. Those back-breaking, cram-your-car-to-the-roof hauls are the best kind. The SGI's make for a nice holiday setting with the Christmas cards Happy Holidays

That's funny, a co-worker of mine recently said pretty much the same thing. He suggested a hot line to the White House though.

If you don't feel like keeping that Apple HD SC shown in the first pic, I'd love to have take it off your hands for you. (I have the floppy-connector "HD20", but it has a dead drive inside; and I'd prefer to have the SCSI model, anyway, I have plenty of spare SCSI drives to throw in.)

Those common workshelves made of particle board that you have to bang together have an annoyingly sharp edge to the metal beams that easily shred off plastic (or skin) if you're not careful. I took a nice chunk of plastic out of a Gateway Internet Appliance I was trying very hard to keep in good condition, not to mention a few cuts and scrapes while assembling the shelves. I've since started ...

Even though Sinclair keyboards weren't the easiest to use, the physical design of the keys and appearance of the keyboard on this model still look really good, IMO.

Yes, I sometimes forget about these dedicated word processors. They were a legitimate part of early computing. I remember my department at work getting a WANG word processor. This was before the IBM-PC. The secretary loved it. I think it ran a form of CP/M. For years and years it sat collecting dust until I personally trashed it sometime in the nineties. I should have snagged it ...

Cool! I had one just like it when I was younger. Mine had problems with the display (4 identical pictures instead of one large), but sometimes it did work just fine. The power supply is in the monitor if I remember correctly. There are also CGA graphics, so you can run games

Thank you. Unfortunately most of my systems just sit on a shelf in my basement. I live in a very small house and don't really have room to set them up, so I haven't gotten around to getting the various items I need to get them going. This is also why I haven't grown my collection. I still use the Commodore pretty often, though. I use it to play old games and demos, and every once in a...
