Sorry, no photos available at this time -- I am somewhat space challeged and I will have to dig it out --My notes say it is a D.O.S. 486-25 - DOS is the builder -- motherboard is 486sx-25 with 4mb memory -- power supply is 200w I think - It is a small tower unit, looks good outside not beatup -- I replaced it with P1 quite a few years ago when hard drive failed --unfortunely I never seem to chuck anything out

Thanks for the suggestion, Hargle, but I want to try to keep this restoration a 'numbers matching' motor, with no 16-bit stuff. Since this is a Juko 10mhz turbo motherboard, I'm allowing for a bit of odd hardware, like the 1.44mb floppy, but not too far off the beaten path of the era. Thanks again, Mike

Hi I have at least one working setup but I'll not part with it. In is a MCS4, SIM4-01 and the programming board. I've used it several time to blow 1702As. I do have a UPP and I think a programming card for 1702As but haven't had anywhere near enough spare time to fiddle with it. The MCS4 could even be made to do 1702s with a software change but I only have one chip that I ...

i don't want to derail this too much, but consider the following: 1) get an XTIDE card. The BIOS on it will support HD floppies when it's finished. 2) get one of those el cheapo 16 bit IDE+floppy+com+lpt super IO cards. Yes, I said 16 bit. 3) disable the IDE controller on the 16bit card. Remove the BIOS if there is one. 4) disable/remove your floppy controller card from your PC...

Hiya comp_rec, I can maybe trade you something here and there, I come across quite a bit at times. But you say you own a "recovery company" and that sounds like "recycling center" or "demanufacturing place." What do you do with what you get? I'd be happy to move things to you but not if they're going to be torn down, never to be used as they were meant to be. Sorry if I sound brusque or ...

According to the first edition of Mueller's 'Upgrading & Repairing PCs', the IBM Options and Adapters Technical Reference manuals did not include PGC and PGD documentation by default. That documentation was included in the optional 'Engineering/Scientific' add-on (part number 6280133). 'Engineering/Scientific' includes: * DAC adapter * DAC distribution Panel * GPIB adapter * ...

If you locate a source for EGA/CGA monitors, let me know.. I have a Zenith monitor of unknown type, de9 connector. I have the computer it goes to as well, and it has a 15-pin db connector ala VGA. I have no cable, so unfortunately the monitor is useless atm, and I am unsure what it is. Different serial than you are looking for though. If you're curious I will post the numbers tomorrow.

The mousepad is a special one that has a grid printed on the reflective surface. You need to look for the old mirrored SUN mouse pads they will work (Mouse systems designed mice for the old sparc systems).

Hi folks, I'm trying to find an "Altera LP6 Logic programming card" . I have the whole PL-ASAP2 setup except for the LP6 card. The Altera LP6 is a computer PCI card that is used with the Altera Master Programming Unit (PL-ASAP2). The card looks like the Picture below that I scanned from an Altera Data Book. Hi-Res version of the LP6 card Below: http://www.digital-...

It probably will be of no use/benefit to you but I posted this in the off-topic classifieds area today. Note I do have RAM that would be of use to you and a DX4 100 CPU that would be of use to you, but no "full package" with a board.
