RAMA There has been no 'news' since August 7, 2007 that They further revealed that tests had been done for a possible future Star Trek: The Next Generation - Remastered effort. Falcor5 's post Just because Mike & Denise Okuda want to see TNG series in HD (like some of us too) doesn't make it news of any announcement. They even say they asked several years ago.

Re: Star Trek TNG Remastered?
Nope. Why would this ever happen? You're right about the level of TNG effects, at least for the first season or two, (and of course, the constant orbiting of Planet Bitmap throughout the show) but overall it holds up reasonably well today. I don't think this will ever happen. Sorry.

^ Good point. It's intriguing to think of a TNG with Yar as the first officer and Riker as the counsellor. could really go for that as a concept. I like the way that would shake up the "traditional" casting roles. Where would that have left Troi? Security chief? I'd like to see Worf still in that role.

Re: Arise, SIR PATRICK STEWART!
Excellent news, it's about time he was given a knighthood. Thanks for sharing.
Now we can justify the idea of badass Picard... 'DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!'

Re: If anyone can stomach another viewing of "Code of Honor" ...
^Indeed. Gerrold, Fontana, and Justman essentially co-created TNG along with Roddenberry, despite not getting credit. It's a shame they were driven away.

TNG Season One: Slooooooooooow
Okay, so actually, I am not a season one hater. I think there is alot of good in season one. I think some of the stories are quite intriguing, I think they took some risks they wouldn't have taken later (i.e. "Conspiracy"), I think the music was better, and so forth.
Unfortunately, I do not own TNG ...

Re: TNG fans please identify yourselves ...
Welcome Bridgette. Always good to hear coming of a new fan. However, you should repost this as the start of a new thread, rather than having it buried here. You will get a lot more replies that way and a much warmer welcome.
Maybe the mods would do the good ensign a favor in this case??...

Picard - He is throughly disallusioned when he discoveres that the Borg still exist after he killed the Queen in "First Contact." As a result he becomes a stony-eyed opportunist who will stop at nothing to achieve his two goals - ...
