Ghost Hunting Shows

I believe in ghosts because I have seen them but 99% of the stuff on the shows are crap. That said Meatloaf was in an episode for some reason and i loved it.

^But it's kind of silly the way they edit it, making it look like they went ahead and did the test without knowing what would happen and only then had an expert just happen to wander by and tell them it would never have worked for a very simple reason. I think that in earlier seasons, they were more honest about it, showing the Mythbusters consulting the experts first and getting their assessments, and then doing the actual tests to...

So, is Blu-Ray worth it, yet?

I have a 32" inch and it's definitely worth it. It's like watching movies for the first time.

Probably going to get flogged for this but for some reason I find British shows 10x better than American shows (except for the Office I couldn't understand the accents). This has been proven with Kitchen Nightmares and Top Gear. Also with X Factor, got hooked when Leona was on. Love Rhydian and Same Difference. I thought Ruth Loreno should've gotten way further. Especially after that killer ...

What an incredibly insightful beginning.
And for the love of God, can people please use capitalization, punctuation and other forms of basic grammar?
Rant...over.

Fox Mulder in the X-Files is my number one. He went from a self-loating, depressed man to a man who came to terms with his life and found someone he truly cared about. By the end of the series he was a much more satisfied person than when we first met him down in that basement and he informed us he was the FBI's most unwanted.
John Locke from LOST is my second. I don't want to comment too ...

I think When Nature Calls is one of the first times I was in a theater with tears running down my face and in incredible pain from the stitch in my side from laughing so much. The rhino bit and "three darts!?! That's too much!" made me wheeze.
My favourite Carrey film, though, is Liar, Liar. So I'll list that along with Monty Python's Holy Grail, Anchorman and 40 Year Old Virgin as great ...

If we can have folks no longer alive, Adolf Hitler.
No, seriously - how much fun would it be to stick one on der Fuhrer's skull instead of on a weighted bag in a gym? Nobody'd crtiticise a person for working off some aggression on him!

Has everyone given up watching out of utter boredom? Hey something happened this week!
I liked Don talking with the prison guard and Pete talking with the elevator guy - so dya think that was the first time in Pete's life he ever had a conversation with a black person that was focused on trying to find out something about them as a person? Even if it's just what brand of TV they prefer.

Had to start this thread early because there's a big time storm hitting and the electricity's flickering (and right now the window's getting pelted with a lot of hail and rain). There are flood warnings and power outages further out, though thankfully nowhere nearby. Have to keep my priorities straight, after all.

I agree, I like UFOs I think the government clearly hasn't told us everything they know.
But I mean really, after the government / police / whatever came up to you the first time, they know you are in the area! They realize they have no right to tell you to leave public property.
I watched like 4 episodes because i like the UFO footage.

My favorite classical composer is Philip Glass.
Not exactly a 'hook'-oriented thing - in fact, his music is almost totally devoid of hooks. Maybe that's why I like it so much.
