As much effort and financial investment Acura has put into this program I knew they couldn't just
alienate the series altogether.

Yup, Mclaren is buying back the 40% that Mercedes owns in it. At least Brawn has good funding and it sounds like Mercedes doesn't want to mess with the
structuring or anything like that. They'll just fund the team and have silver cars now. I see Brawn being even stronger now this coming year with the funding. I do hope they retain Button although I have a feeling Rosberg may be ...

What's odd about his move is that the Ducati WSBK boss just quit too. Coincidence or is something foul afoot at
Ducati Corse?
His new position is marketing manager which seems to be an odd fit for someone who was the team manager of a team that is a strong contender for the title. Honda certainly isn't the place you go if you want a big pay day.
Interesting to say the least.

Ito is full of it. To say you don't regret giving up sponsorship of the F1 championship team is just a straight out lie.
Also the way he blames the pull out on Takeo Fukui is a real scum bag move. Fukui lost the power struggle, was forced out and forced to
pull the plug on F1. I'm sure Ito was at the forefront of the anti-Fukui/anti-performance movement.

As an aside, but Kobayashi is completely freaking nuts. Have you guys seen his scrap with
Jenson Button? This guy is the driver that Toyota should have gotten at the start, since the other two are fairly safe and boring (which is to say, they probably won't win any races because they aren't willing to take risks).
If Kobayashi's form continues, then he'll be what Takuma Sato should...

And Toyota wants Kimi next year? Yikes. Have fun explaining that new cost to the
board of directors...
