I need to go back and check to see, but I think the level changes depending on your view. It is even more noticeable with surround sound.

I was pretty impressed. They've finally gotten rid of the atrocious tire sound and replaced it with something more realistic, the engine didn't sound tinny, and the car models seemed pretty good. As far as dislikes, shading in some areas sucked and I'm not sure the sense of speed is accurate. The engine sounds are still far too quiet. These cars are RACING full throttle, not ...

If you want a good wheel you should get the Fanatec 911 Turbo/Turbo S wheel which works with the 360, PC, and PS3. It does look like a good game but I'm not getting a 360 so I dont know.

Cool. I'm still looking forward to it, albeit NFS-Shift has been more fun than I can recall having with anything in the GT series for quite some time... the graphics and sheer size of gt5 will be hard to surpass, though. Are you going to pick up Forza 3? Haven't read much about it but I have noticed all 4 copies at blockbuster seem to be frozen in time...
