Find out what kind of club it is - what the environment's like - the type of crowds they have - etc. If it's a place where you can email the club-owners (i.e., it's a private residence that hosts parties) ... talk to them & have them explain the club's rule to you.

Yes, they do exist. For couples or mixed parties, I believe the term is "
Jack and Jill" parties. I don't know how common they are though. If you can't find them through google, try the Yahoo groups. Funny thing is is wasn't until today that I realized why they call them "jack and jill" parties thanks to daviscpl's comment!!

We only use "on line" to let the world know we are out there. We never contact anyone on line. We have other contact us and we let them know when we are at the club and they are welcome to meet us there. We never meet anyone out side of the club anymore.
