Thanks for sharing that. I'm a fan of his. It's actually my intent to tell my family about us this week while most of them are here. Getting them all together to do so is going to be problematic with what each has planned.

I tend to disagree with this broad definition.
I "love" to some extent, every couple we've ever been with.
Even a few we haven't
I think it's more of a "marriage" type of relationship only one that involves sex.

I would look in the mirror and know that I would be the one to blame for what has happened to this relationship and what is happening within it.
YOU did something you where not comfortable with in Vegas. Four nights of closed door playing. Right there you should have been honest with your spouse and the other couple. This was not something you wanted to do. Because you wanted to be the "...

Ed & Bunny,
We had a close female friend of L's live with us for a very long time as she went through a separation and a move across the country to our area at the time. Having someone stay with you, either for a few weeks, or a couple of years, there is one thing in the back of your mind, they are leaving at one point.
In a
poly relationship, with someone living with you and you are ...

Not sure if our situation is considerd to be Poly.
We are two couples who only
swing with each other (does a poly relationship only involve 3 people? Not sure on this).

Re: What brings people to poly?
I am at my very core a greedy person. I wont say never, because never never comes. But I can't see myself ever
falling in love with another person while feeling so complete with the one I am with now.
But I do very much love another couple that we swing with, but it is a friendship like non other I have ...

I can see poly-type relationships becoming more and more common if the economy continues to decline. Among the people I work with there have been 2 tris and 1 quad develop over the last year or so. One tri is FMF where the single F graduated and can't find a job. She keeps the house and provides
child care while the couple both work 24-36 hour shifts (medical field). They can now work the same ...
