If you're into swapping and trading, I've got a 1996 RF900 I'd be interested in swapping out for your 2500.

Thoughts on the Dunlop Roadsmart?
Published (2009-07-05 15:14:00)
8000 miles is not bad from a set of tires. I currently have 9200 on my bridgestones BT016's and they are down to the wear bars. I can't comment on the roadsmarts as I haven't used them or know anybody that has them. But, if you're going to use your bike everyday as you say then, you will need a tire thats fairly hard in the middle for wear. You should look into one of those locks that go on the brake disk. But thats not...

zx - the 10R is left over in droves and can be had for 600cc money and is everybit as good of a bike overall. Something different. I also have ridden a 08 CBR1000RR this week and it is a BEAST mid range tourque. 4th gear wheelies at 90mph with no clutch! But after all the twisties so far on this MO / AR trip i can say that my 600cc bike stays with them all just fine...

After about 8000 miles I realize that purchasing Pilot Power's for my riding type was probably a bad decision considering I have a nice big flat spot in the middle of my tires and fairly untouched sides. I was reading in Sport Bike mag and I noticed an ad for these Roadsmart tires, and from what I read they are exactly what I'm looking for in a tire... so I'm curious if anyone has used or if you...

I have a 150 70 17 pilot road on my rear which is getting pretty low after 6k miles on it. Last time I got a pretty good deal from someone on the site for a new set of these. I don't really need the Pilot Road 2 as I have never felt this tire slip in turns but if no one can get the Pilot Road 1 then I might as well get the 2. Also my Vue is in need of tires... Forgot who had the hookups for...

Does anyone happen to have a 04-06 R1 Exup valve that I can borrow temporarily?? I'm not even going to install it, I just need to plug to into my bike for 120 seconds to clear some error codes. I am going to then buy some 10k ohm resistors to trick the ecu into thinking the exup is still attached...Please help...
