By far the best moment(s) was the campus chase including the library and of course, the Wilhelm scream.

Hop inside an old fridge with 21 kilotons on TNT placed around it and let someone detonate it. You can be the first to test this experiment out. Let us know what happens!

A quick search came up with these stats: The \'Little Boy\' bomb used on Hiroshima produced these temperatures - at 17 metres range 300 000 degrees Celsius, at 50 metres 9000 - 11000 degrees Celsius, at ground level beneath hypocentre temperatures reached above 6000 degrees Celsius. So, in the lead lined fridge, it\'s not keeping the radiation out that matters (although the rubber door seal must be miraculous), but the...

I could just say no and not dignify the reply with reason. I can honestly think of no possible way Indy could have survived unless... It was the transdimensional beings that made the fridge from some compound unkown to human kind that was blast proof, radiation proof and at the same time suspended Indy perfectly in a state of zero gravity so that any motion and impact had no effect. Or... Perhaps the fridge was really a portal to the other...

What are some tiny moments that you notice that make the film a little bit more awesome for you?
Example, mine for the first 30 minutes or so
-How "Hound Dog" gets louder and you see the Hot Rod run over the hill
-When the title goes on screen
-The shot where the Hot Rod goes off the road to avoid the truck, that shot was awesome
-The shoe tying
-Indy picking up the hat in ...

So, the big mother-of-all-questions: CAN IT BE DONE?
I know that it is practically impossible, but still...can't we have fun and just imagine, for a brief moment, how this could possibly work? I'm making this thread purely because MythBusters have not yet done a KOTCS special, which would absolutely rock (Adam would love to try out the nuked fridge bit! He's got the gear, after all!). Don't know of this is worth a thread but take a look at this shot.
Anything interesting?
Lucas likes to add silhouettes to show where charectors are going like the promo poster for Phantom Menace or maybe just to make downright badass shot.
Do you think this is a planned shot or just a stupid observation?

I believe in the film it says the Aliens taught farming techniques to the locals. So not so much started the human race but gave it a helping hand.

Lots of people think kotcs pushed the limit of plausibility.
My question is does this bother anyone? Or does it just add to the fun?

"You got sole!"
(description pulled from the Indiana Jones Wiki)
Spalko and some soldiers travel in a car through the jungle along with a small caravan of trucks and cars, one which is transporting Oxley, the Skull, Mac and some soldiers, all led by the beastly Jungle Cutter. Marion takes the time to tell Mutt that Jones is ...

I was skimming KOTCS yesterday, watching what I consider to be the good parts, and started wondering: is Indy ever called Indiana or Indy by anyone? Mac calls him Jonesy, the dean and Ox call him Henry, Mutt calls him old man, professor, daddy-o. Spalko calls him Jones. Marion is the only one who might call him Indy.
Anyone know? Or do I have to watch it all over again?
(Yeah, I know...

I wonder what her specific achievements were, or if she could have done anything except discoveries in parapsychology.

I watched last week\'s episode of "Community" and in it, Ahmed says he is seeing an Indiana Jones retrospective and will watch the first three and suffer through the fourth. Later in the episode, a student gets him the Indy trilogy and not the fourth because "the fourth blows." On the cancelled series of " Life On Mars," one character from the future tells the lead character (whose name escapes ...
