I've noticed a few things that I am more sensitive to, but it's definitely not everything. My dog's breath smells totally different to me now. I thought maybe something was wrong with her, but my husband said it smells normal to him. One day last week he set the timer on the coffee pot the night before, so when we woke up we'd have our coffee already made (we used to do this most nights, but lately I haven't had an...

First off, there is nothing wrong with you going out while pregnant. Just make sure you don't over exert yourself and stay hydrated and you will be fine. Although he may prefer you to stay at home, he is not the boss of you and can not control what you have do. Try to talk to him and explain that being pregnant does not mean you have to be housebound. Families are always difficult so I suggest that you just try to keep open lines of...

I just got back from my day-long baby class at the hospital. I was the furthest along in the room. I think I was actually the most mobile of any of them from the way it looked. Anyway, I dont know what to think about labor now, except that it is such a big deal. Why does it have to be such a big, huge process? I wonder if once its you, you just live it - maybe its scarier on screen, I dont know. I also think I am a prude and one of my biggest...

He may just be used to the bottle from being in the nic u. Bottle feeding is so much easier for them. Have you considered just pumping and doing bottle feeding? He would still be getting breast milk and it will be emotionally easier on you, which is important. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Ohh I am so sorry you're having to deal with this. It's a tough one. You are not overreacting, I totally agree with you and it is just common sense. The first thing I would do is pick a relaxed time to talk to your mother with your father there (as witness) and tell her how you appreciate their care and love for your son, however you have certain values and principles that you are trying to bring...

Yay! So glad you started this thread.
This will be my first child. I found out at exactly 4 weeks (from my last period). It's our little wedding gift.
I've been very nauseous and very tired. Luckily I've only thrown up a handful of times. I'm ready for a nap after breakfast, lol. Those two things are definitely my most difficult symptoms at this point. I haven't gained any weight yet, ...

We've flown with LO's and never had any problems. We always make sure to have the kids swallow something (water, snacks, bottles, pacis, etc.) during take-offs and landings. It's quite possible that your LO's ears have not popped. I had a friend who flew as an adult and had an ear that wouldn't pop for months. She required medical intervention to get her ear unplugged. The same condition can...

You should try again. They say it may take up to 10 tries for them to get used to a flavor.

I'll start...I had my ultrasound on Monday and it was such a memorable experience. It started with baby on his hands and knees kicking both legs back, like a horse. Then he decided that he wanted to show us his privates…over and over again. The tech had to keep leaving body parts half way and coming back later to finish measurements, he refused to stay still. After about an hour he must have ...
