Good stuff. I love having daylight savings. If you are having trouble adjusting, use melatonin before sleep for a few nights.

They have had very few leaves for years. Still, it may not be covered. I guess we'll find out.

When we had a fishbowl, we always put in a spring of something green. Now, all you need is some very big goldfish. Think koi! That really made a mess. But I suppose it didn't disturb the neighbors in the cemetery.

This afternoon my oncologist told me to go away and not come back. Although the standard for being called cured is now seven years, after five the probability of relapse is so low that it is no longer cost-effective for monitoring by a specialist. I have to get a CEA blood test once per year for the rest of my life and a colonoscopy every three years.
I am pleased.

The worst is over. A bit over two inches of rain in my gauge, with much more elsewhere. Very strong winds. Hurricane force at the shore, and over 40 mph around here.
I finished picking up a whole trash can full of fallen branches. The township picks up yard waste, so it will be composted. And I am looking at a 2 foot circle of wet ceiling in the family room.

A town near my parents home decided to hold ski races for charity. On the plus side there were loads of volunteers, on the minus side, the London are is notorious for it's lack of ski slopes. So a street was covered in lino, people strapped ice blocks to their feet and bingo! All done with the blessing of the local council, loads of money raised and almost as many bruises.

Well, we are bracing for a wicked Nor'easter, that will dump huge amounts of rain, accompanied by strong winds. In some areas, over 6" is expected. And in some of those areas, it is on top of the snow that is already there. For us, temperatures in the 50's will keep it as rain. The weather people said if it were snow, there could be up to five feet in some places. Now that is something I ...

No, not on my social calendar, nor due to a supply of super potent catnip.
Rain, and lots of rain. Predicted to be perhaps 3", with 40 mph winds at times. While most of our snow is gone, there is plenty further north where the rain will give lots of melting. So while small stream and creek flooding is predicted, they are also predicting river flooding.
But at least it is rain, with ...
