I've seen enough of Mike Tolbert to know that there's no way this guy is risked to the practice squad. Besides he will play a big part in our offense this year and I really believe that...I hate making any conclusions based on preseason play, but Mike Tolbert made it for me in this case. He is fast and agile for a fullback. He has good hands, can cut and make guys miss, but more importantly...

Hey all I happen to be staying at the Raiders hotel in Seattle this weekend, the Waterfront Marriott. Gonna be there for the Coug game. Being a big bolts fan, any ideas on what I should do? I'm young and brash, so I need some suggestions.

Tonight our beloved Chargers take on the SeaHags from up north. It's the 3rd preseason game of the year and the first half is the likely last tune-up for the starters before the season commences. They'll be looking to be putting a hurting on their old nemesis from AFC West days gone bye. The second half will be a show by the young guys, scratching and clawing to make their way onto to the team...

From my perspective, Merriman is going to do what's right for his career and take a surgery that'll need more rehab time thus paving the way for a new starting LB. That brings me to point two. I believe in Jyles Tucker. With Cooper out and (in my opinion, it's not official) Merriman being out, I want to see a real coming out party for Tucker. The Raiders game is only the beginning:
