I only remember the Sombrero from when I was a child. Even if the seats hurt I loved every single bit of it. The last game i went to would be the 2005 Falcons game. Forgot what week it was, But it was Christmas Eve. I've never heard a crowd so loud in my life. And my days in Florida I went to all the games I could. I recall alot of fans leaving after the Bucs fumbled that ball. I recall asking my buddy asking me if i was ready to leave...

The old one. Everything was cheaper. The new stadiums in the NFL are pretty, but come at a high cost. I don't need all those fancy things to enjoy the game. Just give me a cold beer and a nice view at a reasonable price and I'm a happy camper.

I loved the old Stadium (Tampa, Houlihan's, The Big Sombrero) but mainly because of nostalgia, it is where my Pops and I went to a lot of games when I was a kid. But sitting on those metal bench seats in August/September was brutal especially since the stadium was usually half empty. You could get 3rd degree burns from the reflection coming off those damn things. And those bathrooms? ...

if you want a good hotel your better served staying away from the immediate vicinity of the stadium. i would suggest a hotel off westshore avenue, still relatively close to the stadium. not walking distance by any means, but there really isn't anything worthy in walking distance hotel wise. they have a hyatt, and a doubletree in that area, with some nice restaurants very close to them. you can...

As a fan who stands in the south endzone all game long...... I think the view is better. Much easier to see plays develop quickly. And you often catch a lot that the TV cameras, as well as the side views, miss.

I'm not sure if there are buses, we just drive every time we go, the traffic isn't very bad, and should be better considering the attendance

I recommend flying, its about a 20 hour drive. The Days Inn near the stadium isnt very expensive if you have to stay the night. I feel like I being called out, but I want to go back to Tampa.
