Yes you can fit a limiter. A Bee-R limiter has been used on a CA before, fitted by Dr. Drift IIRC. You shouldn't really be needing a limiter though, power starts falling after 6450 rpm so taking it higher is essentially useless.

Power Steering Removal.

As you said "StaTiK", I did intend to centre the rack before installation. I also intend to measure the position of the tie rod ends before I send the old unit away and then set the new ones to those dimensions before installation. I think I will then be fairly close to the original settings. I wasn't confident enough to tackle the "kit install" so I've taken the easy but expensive method.

I've never understood this arguement, I mean sure peak power and torque drop off, but stretching out the gear will mean the next gear will engage further into the power...

lights all fine except parkers
Published (2010-01-01 12:36:00)
look if the switch that is under the low fuel light , the one that you can dim the dash lights is plugged.. just pop your hand behind the dash and pop the switch out.. look at the plugs and make sure the wires are not melted.. NOTE even if your fuse test fine that doesn't mean it's good.. try swapping the fuses just to be sure that they all work fine.. then you can tick it out of the list.. as for the light switch i will say like...

I had pull out the driver's side drive shaft, pull off the tie rod ends and with a bit of wiggling and pushing back and forth you can maneuver the rack out the driver's side

High beams are fine - do the lights go on to low beam.
Reason I am asking, is high/low beam switching is done by a relay that is powered from the same fuse as the Parker light circuit...

there are plenty of different types of tyres that would suit your needs
besides the width and series. There are other things you need to look into. Tread pattern (whether if you want directional tyres). rubber compound (if you want soft tyres)
My exa is still running the stock 14 inch rims. At the moment i'm running Yokohama A drives... or C drives. They aren't a performance tyre...

actually we did put in new valveguide seals. since we had them handy from the gasket set and the head was already off, we decided to go on ahead and rebuild it. thanks for the concern tho. yep, i think this project is pretty much done.

Definately PAR gearset, expensive as but damn worth it. The next issue
you'll have if you go PAR is your CV's, they'll be the next weakest link.
You can go forged CV's or if you wanna continue spending lots of money,
Carbon ones (I think they were carbon).

you should use a rubber line somewhere as the clutch slave cylinder is bolted onto the block. The master is on the firewall. The engine/block will rock with driving, so with a stiff line it will create a crease and eventually snap.
use a rubber line
