any men ever found a lump down...

Quote: my ex-husband found a lump in his testicles when he was 20 and was terrified... thankfully he got past his embarassment and went to his GP who diagnosed that he had a varicocele. A varicocele is like a varicose vein in the small veins of the testicles, and myex didn't need any treatment for it. Sometimes men need treatment forit, particularly if it causes any pain, but my ex never had any pain oncehe wore tight briefs for support...

recurrent thrush
Published (2009-12-22 15:16:00)
I do not know the success of this but a lot of people seem to recommend Wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium/ It herb used for digestive issues. It fights the Candida in the bowels (which can cause thrush). I would imagine you can get the pill form from your local health shop or perhaps Chinese chemist? Is yours caused by the stress of your periods? There is many different ways of tackling the issue depending on what exactly is causing the problem....

yeah what the nurse told me was that cerazette can either stop your periods completely or give you uber periods from hell. unfortunatly i got the latter! i'll need to ask about mini pill, i was under the impression that cerrazette was the only one you could use while bf. although the 3 hour window does put me off as i seem to be rather fertile, got pregnant with lo with on the pill. so i liked the safety net of the 12 hour window! but it...

Hiya
Yes I can definately recommend something I have always suffered with coldsores and I have used all the creams that I could get my hands on! I have recently discovered the electronic device from Boots that uses an electric light that zaps the area to stimulate the immune system to get rid of the cold sore and so far its worked!

Hi,
A family member (elderly) of mine is suffering from severe haemorrhoids. He is also undergoing treatment for other health problems, I am trying to find him one of those ring cushions - my nan seems to think we can hire them - can anyone point me in the right direction. Ideally want to get it before xmas!?
If anyone can help we would be really really greatful!
Thankyou xx

I know what you mean. All my dentists are giving me lectures but I'm too shy to say something. Anyway I think you should definitely go cause it feels so great when you know that ur teeth are done but if he says something then you should tell him something I guess. I have an appointment on the 6th as well and I'm soo scared but I'll better have the lecture and the awful pain than keep suffering ...

Hi Helena, just to say I am interested to hear any suggestions too as I also get terribly depressed for a week or so before my period. I have tried starflower oil which didn't work at all. The HV suggested taking magnesium and zinc supplements but I haven't taken them long enough yet to notice any difference. The GP has suggested the mirena coil, which I might consider. Going for a walk ...

Hi,
Can see where your coming from but most guys just seem to see it as a little bit porn stary, living the dream of doing the deed with the woman they love and the fact she has completely shaved makes it a little bit naughtier.
My OH finds the stubble rash rather annoying after a few days so i only have it occasionly. Does he also shave it all off? I did when I went "lead free" and found...

hi there
It is hard to rationalize things when you are convinced something is wrong. It is also hard when we have all heard the 'my friend's aunt's neighbour's best friend's nan ...' stories!!
So you know that both the doctors are right - it would be difficult for 2 doctors to totally miss a lump and lets face it if it were (God forbid) cancer it would be bigger by now and you would be ...

this is not a typical sexy novel but I would definately recommend ONCE by James Herbert.
It is a bit of a discriptive read, but those fairies are so naughty . . . .

Ok so this morning I recieved a phone call telling me my doctor has requested I go in first thing tomorrow morning for a fasting blood test to test for diabetes and to check HB and cholestral levels.
I was just wondering why they would randomly do this? I havent been to the doctors recently for anything, its got me slightly worried.
Im only 26 so cant be a testing over 30's or 40's etc
