kirtiray wrote: On the other side of the coin is Albert Kwan. A Seattle Class III firearms dealer and collector, Kwan followed the path of minimal cooperation. When agents asked him about a pair of Makarov barrels they thought he might have bought and asked to examine any Makarovs or Makarov parts he might have, Albert told them he had only purchased one barrel and that they should get a warrant if they wanted to examine it or anything else...

That happened to a local guy here in WA too. Big Al had a gun shop and did some tooling on guns. He was also very politically active and that got him in the crosshairs. In his case evidence was lost, charges were trumped up, and he ended up doing time, losing his business, and a lot of money. Last I heard he had gotten out and was trying to make a living as a lobbiest.

You anti-police leftists just can't comprehend that theTaser is designed to get people under contriol without harming them. It makes no difference if the person is 10 or 100. Also, since the article states that the device was used for about one second, the girl was not "Tasered", she was "stunned" with what's called a "dry stun device" or a stun gun. The Taser goes for five seconds automatically....

That's a pretty biased article. Notice how they keep mentioning that Harmon is a "mom." Any douchbag can be a mom. Regardless, Harmon admits that she refused to obey the officer when he told her she was under arrest: "I was not getting out of that van!" she said. So, the issue becomes one of what the sheriff's department policy says. Does the policy permit deputies to use the Taser as a ...
