As I've noted in other discussions with you over the years, this reflects your entire world outlook: Conservatives are good. Liberals are bad. Most people are conservative. Those that aren't are brainwashed or conspiratorial evil doers. ...if only the world operated in such a black and white fashion.

It was a humourous remark. No humour in Amerikkka? BTW, i never denied Chavez was a socialist. Another thing you pulled out your ass.

Barry aka Obama has committed treason on several occasions so I suspect that he can and should be impeached as the first act of the 2011 Congressional session. If the House goes to Republicans it will mean that the fundamental transformation to socialism has been rejected. Then there is the problem of what to do with Joe. I would offer him an out. If he picked Joe Lieberman as his VP and then resigns we would let him keep his retirement benefits.

It was a humourous remark. No humour in Amerikkka? I'm sure Venezuelans had a great laugh. This month, the president admitted there was a crisis in both the power and water industries. This came on the heels of a similar admission regarding healthcare. He put the blame mainly on the El Niño phenomenon for producing drought -- Venezuela is 70 percent dependent on hydro power for its electricity -- and on consumers for their wasteful...

The part that pisses me off is all this talk about "the worse recession since the Great Depression". It's complete bullshit. I remember a worse recession than this and I'm not 90 years old. It was the Carter administration. People were losing their jobs, their homes and their farms. Inflation was rampant, interest rates were in the twenties and unemployment was at least as high as it is now. The difference is that...

The Internet seems just fine to me as it is. It's pretty much free-wheeling unless you're Chinese or a pedophile. I can't see a single thing that could be improved by any government intervention. Broadband is coming down in price due to competition and one can access it from just about anywhere on the globe. That's sort of the point. The internet as it is now already operates under the principle of net neutrality and it is...

And another example of communist's "perfect" economy... Cuba's push to take control of food prices sparks outrage, fear over shortages 12:00 AM CDT on Thursday, October 29, 2009 Will Weissert, The Associated Press HAVANA - The habanero peppers, oranges and peanuts cost more at Cuba's free-market agros - farmers markets where vendors, not the government, set prices. But the food stalls overflow with abundance...

Chavez is a fool. I don't know if he's dangerous. I guess somebody will eventually take him out.

I recently met a guy that went on a humanitarian mission to Venezeula back in 2000. He met Hugo and has one funny story about that but his other stories were about the people everywhere he went showing him how he was ruining the country. Many of them begged to be taken out of there.

Now that's an interesting point. As I'm sure you know, the Catholic Church is very slow to change. The current move actually provides a potential vehicle for the Church to begin considering a change of doctrine. Personally, I think the sex abuse scandal has forced the Vatican to reconsider some things. From what I know of this Pope, I doubt that's the case. I think he sees the growing...

Classifying fiscal conservatives as "the Republican Party's liberal wing" is an attempt to shift blame for Bush's irresponsible, Liberal, spending policy from the "Judeo-Christian" moral wing of the GOP. The Medicare Prescription Drug Program, No Child Left Behind, the CHIP program, and the general increase in entitlement spending played on the morals of the WWJD crowd. Olympia Snowe's claim ...
