I see. But they are very useful for resolving conflicts. Sure. People prefer to kill and get killed when they believe it's for the right cause. Ah, so Churchill is no better than Hitler.

Response from Real Climate
Published (2009-11-21 23:35:00)
Real Climate's response would be valid if the charges being raised were indeed examples of cherry picking unfortunate phrases out of context. Rather, the chronology, context over a long span of time and across multiple institutions, people and projects, and the detailed history of what these folks have been up to is being reconstructed in detail. And what the reconstruction shows is very damning. An example of that process is to be found...

Cable News Ratings
Published (2009-11-20 15:44:00)
It's probably less than 4 million because some people probably watch both Shep and Baier. I had no idea how bad Chris Mathews was doing. I think MSNBC would be better running a regular news program like they used to with Brian Williams in that spot. As for CNN, ouch...although Larry King's ratings always depend on the person he's interviewing.

Hi Felix.... You're right, he reacted to LurkerMom's words, and used it to question my Americanism which is fine. He then said he grouped us into two. Funny how he referred to us as "he".....either that means he wasn't grouping us into two, OR he favors the male over female and refers to all people as "he"...sorry ladies, you are "men" too. He also used someone else's...

We're all in this together. I'm trying to help! The only rational explanation is that LibDems want to utterly destroy this country economically, so I will do what I can to help. If I'm going to become a slave to the government, I'm going to be the most costly slave the government could ever imagine. I can't be trusted to live my life as I see fit. If they are so dead-set on controlling me, then I won't so much as...

Anyway, I've been back since the spring. where do you get the 'we' bit? You know, "we," as in we ordinary Americans, the kind that hope for a strong and healthy American, not those of you who want us to fail.

Just why did Gore choose Joe? Did he think having a teabagger on the ticket would help him with conservatives? If so, why did they hide Joe's real agenda? Again, religion trumps reason. Ol' Joe's only concern is Israel.

Liberals have short term memory...See the following bumper sticker. "Why does Al Quaida kill civilized people when they could kill Bush?" http://www.mrgoodmood.com/anti%20Bush%20bumper%20s tickers.ht... Sorry, but selective outrage doesn't work here. Short term memory. Liberals want us to treat Obama better than they did Bush...and we are. But that's not saying much....

Anyone care to try to define what "white values" are? Family picnics with potato salad and hamburgers. Someone's grandma always brings that crappy jello with grapes and shredded carrots in it too... so that seems to be a "white value". Have you ever seen black folks buying Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" album? .. mmm hmmm.. that's what I thought. Bill Z
