Weekend task lists! (open to all)
Published (2009-11-15 10:46:00)
Wow, yeilB and ThyPeace, you kicked butt on those lists! That's awesome! I fizzled out halfway through the day and took a nap. But I *did* have an excuse: my monthly poker game was last night and it's always a late and exhausting night, so a nap is actually a good idea. That doesn't excuse the 2 hours of TV before the nap, though... Status (identical to when last we saw our hero): 1) Get check to the bank - DONE 2) Do laundry -...

Published (2009-11-13 11:44:00)
I am not too happy with all of the side effects I have read. My gut (I have no reference for this) tells that I am only taking this because it MIGHT prevent a fracture or break. Keep in mind that I am 10 years older than you and already through menopause. I do weight bearing exercise (I am a runner) and keep my weight where it should be. For the most part, I eat well. Personally, I don't feel like these drugs have been around long enough...

Online shareable to-do list
Published (2009-11-13 11:38:00)
I was thinking that you both could set up a google homepage; there are a number of to do list aps available. If both of you had access to the homepage, it would be easy to see what each other has checked off the list.

Hmmm I can think of two solutions: Googledocs would work. If you have a gmail account you can create documents there and can share them with other people (whether gmail users or not, I believe) and can set them as collaborators. Then you would each be able to edit the same list at will, and have access to it from any computer. I do this with DF for travel ideas, movies we want to ...

Dinner party went well. Cleanup for 6 is a lot easier than for family parties where there are 12-18 people. Some dishes manage to hid in plain site. After thinking the hand wash dishes were complete, I realized that the coffee pot still had coffee in it. I had bought a new tablecloth and wasn't certain how colorfast it is. It added to two loads of laundry, before and after use....
